different engine?

Anyone have a diff engine in their 8? i remmember before turbos came out someone was HP hungry ripped engine out and swapped for a rx7 engine? correct me if im wrong.. also any imput... just discuss.

Only engine swap I've heard was with a 20B 3 rotor done by Acosta Motorsports in Jersey. I think, however, they want something like 60k for the swap....re-*******-diculous.

As cool as a motor swap sounds.. there is no legal way to swap out the motor in your RX8. Be prepared to get creative come inspection time.

i remember LONG LONG LONG ago that someone pulled a little prank or what not and said they swapped the rotary out and replaced it with a v8 and tried to make others believe that he really did this...
