Dealership exhaust problems

I wanted my exhaust louder so I called my local dealer and made sure that if I changed my exhaust that it would still be under warranty. They said yes.... So I went and got the resonator cut out and added bigger tips. I was happy with the sound until I took it to the dealership to get the Horn replaced... They said the CEL came on when they started it up so they checked it out and I have a bad rear o2 sensor and the guy tells me its 220 bucks and that my warranty is now voided because of taking the resonator out, after the guy said that anything CAT-BACK is okay. What can I do? Anyone else had this problem?

tell them to prove it. I think its the magnum-moss act? (totally pulled that outta my *** but its some ACT that makes bullshit like this stop in its tracts.

The last o2 sensor i know of is behind the cat... you can do anything you want after that and it should be legal/under warranty. Someone else chime in and tell this guy the exact act/law im talking about so he can find it, print it and take it up to the dealership.

The only way I can think they would be right is if you accidentally knocked or hit (hard) the O2 sensor while working under the car.

You can google Magnum-moss act and find more links. But as with any law its just a bunch of words. He can't go to the cops and say the dealership will not fix my car, he has to get a lawyer. Also what the dealer said doesn't matter, Magnusom Moss will only go by what's in writting.
