Cutout

Any one have a Cutout on their 8? I've been looking for a video with a cutout or for that matter just without the muffler, but all the videos have the cat removed!!

Are u looking for a

Midpipe or racepipe: it does not have a cat on it

Straight exhaust: someone running a straight pipe from the manifold wit no cat just straight out the back..

Is it one of these

No, it is called a cut out. you can get them electric or screw-on it just goes on to your exhaust pipe... generally behind the cat, and you open it and its just like running with no muffler.

On the rotary, I'm not entirely sure. On a piston engine, I know there is a more severe chance of burning a valve. The reason you see alot of drag cars and such run open headers is because they watch the condition of their engines very carefully, so they can check that kind of stuff out.

I honestly think an uncorked rotary is pretty stupid loud, like make your ears bleed and your eyes fall out loud.
