Custom Exhaust Question

Hello everyone. I am not an RX8 owner (i drive an 07 GTI) anyway my girl has an 08 RX8 that she loves and she wants exhaust. Im planning on surprising her with it soon. anyway she thinks it would be cool to have a center exit (which i have seen) but to have it come out of the rear bumpers rotary emblem. is it possible or has it been done where the center of the emblem has been cut out and a straight pipe run through it? i have checked out underneath and it appears possible. Anyone ever seen or done this or have any pictures? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

WTF! Florida= no SMOG restrictions like CA, but can it be done, yes its been done. through the rotary accent? No, it will melt ur bumper, Pics, too much junk to look through, it might be possible more easily with the Kenstyle RX8 bumper....look it up....It can be done.

so heat would be an issue (i know very little about rotaries except my buddy old 93 RX7 had a exhaust temp too high light lol). She wants it to come through the "accent" though and i agreed it would be pretty cool. ... btw some more details, im not sure if it affects anything or not. but it is a slowmatic (i say this because i drive her car alot and ive driven quite a few manual rx8s and omg its so shamefully slow)

and yes florida does not have emissions. noticing your from California too to make you jelous lol we have 93 octane at every gas station (which helps me cause my cars on a strict 93+ tune) and i can get 100 unleaded and 110 leaded Cam2 race fuel at about 10 local gas stations lol.

Though you're not likely looking to spend too much $$$ IMO the kight sports tip would be ideal...

I've seen it done before. The bumper won't melt with a proper metal shroud. You need a tight radius to clear the rear diff, but it's possible.
