I used some redline water wetter mixed with the rad fluid. Seems to work well. My fans never come on anymore.

GReddy Air Diversion Panel
Why would you need that when we've got some perfectly useable black plastic ones that come w/the car?

going back to what RP said on messing up the positive/negative pressure balance of the engine bay. What about those bodykit manufactuers such as BN Sports and R-Magic who produce (very) vented hoods for the RX8, would those hoods be a bad choice to install? Looking at it from a performance stand point?

Our friends at Speedsource seem to think it works ok too because under that cover is a gold box with MoTeC on it. I guess it's all they could afford at the time but somehow they have managed to eek out 2 wins in a row with it anyway.

Computers in cars get hot and can live in ahot environment while working their asses off just like you or me, right Denny?
If you think about it's not really that hot under the hood. I mean modern day graphics cards say Nvidia's 6800 series can run at 90C no problem, and they don't even throttle until 120C.

actually cooling fans for the oil coolers may not be a bad idea. Also when the oil is changed the residual oil in the coolers may need to be changed also.
The modified front ends do not feed air past the rad into the engine compartment. Some(most) do have a bigger airsupply to the rad but it doesnt by pass it. Therfore the positive/negnative pressure is still intact. the danger is if you bypass the rad with engine bay ventilation then you can have a positive pressure inside the engine bay , therefore making it harder for air to flow through the rad.
