TX Concerning AEM long tube cold air intake.

Hello guys I recently got my Coils and O2 sensor replaced at the dealership.
They did recommend me to replace my wires and spark plugs too but it wasn't required at the moment so I ordered them and have been reading DIY threads.

Anyways my question is on the CEL description by the dealership it says, "Oil Cap Oring is missing which caused a Lean code but more related to Long tube Cold air intake" I did order the O-ring and it will be installed tomorrow morning at the dealership but if they're saying it's more related to Long tube cold air intake then is my MAF gone bad? I want to get rid of CEL completely but O2 sensor and 4 coils + spark plugs and wires already cost me over a grand.

ps. I know I need new struts... should I just get like aftermarket coilovers or just replace the struts :/

I'm pretty newb when it comes to cars so bear with me guys!

btw I have 04 Rx-8 Manual
and list of my mods are
Axial flow SS, AEM CAI, K&N Exhaust, clear corners.

hopefully you don't go to the dealer for all your easy maintenance requirements!

What is the code number?

Well I usually don't :/ but my car wouldn't start like the last time my engine got flooded and replaced so I thought it was the same problem. Car was towed to dealership so I was just like what the heck do whatever to make it run just don't do anything unnecessary....

Code number is P0171 I think here's all the code

"P0037 Heater Control Circuit low voltage. P0171 System Lean Bank 1. P0455 Evap gross leak. P0456 Evap small Leak. Need to replace O2 sensor (Bank1/sensor2). Spark plugs are worn. Recommend coil pack on rotor 1. recommend spark plug wires.
Replaced all 4 Ignition coils. Customer declined plugs and wires. Replaced Bank1 Sensor2 o2 sensor. Oil cap oring is missing which caused a lean code but more related to long tube cold air intake."

Oil cap oring is missing which caused a lean code....Hum...
Don't see how they are related...

Instead of the CAI, i'm more concerning about the MAF....tube are just tubes, unless there is a leak somewhere. MAF is the one that tells PCM how much fuel to put it.

P0455 and P0456 those are probably just a bad fuel cap.

There's a lot of info on the P0171 code on the forum if you search but it's probably not your MAF, if anything I would just clean it. A lean condition can be caused by either not enough fuel or too much air being introduced in to the engine that's not read by the MAF which would be a vacuum leak. I would check for vacuum leaks first, get some carb cleaner and spray it sparingly around the engine while the car is idling and see if it causes any change in the idle, this will help you isolate where the leak is coming from if you have one.

No problem, just take your time and try to educate yourself so you can make a somewhat informed decision because it will save you in the long run. Anything you can imagine asking on these forums has more than likely been asked before and there is a thread about it.
