Cool Cheap uprgades?

I have a 2005 rx8 gt, and iv got roughly 500$.
I would like to spend this on perfomance upgrades put im not sure what gets the best "bang for buck."

Currently, I have performance brake rotors, and coilovers.

I know i wont get much gains at all from exhaust or intake, but if anything, I was thinking of a turbo xs full exhaust with race pipe, or a cobb accessport, or maybe some weight reduction? (carbon fiber, lightweight flywheel etc.)
What should I do? any ideas?

"Cheap" is not something that can be used to describe any RX-8 mod. Of the items listed, a Cobb AP is certainly the best, since it's a tool. The only other 2 items in that range that produce a clear benefit is the BHR ignition kit and BHR midpipe. Both the best of their respective types.

First mod should be ignition upgrade. The Mazda ones suck unless you plan on replacing them almost every 30k to be safe.

Besides ignition upgrades, you might as well finish the suspension area with some sway bars, good tires and wheels.

You're not doing much weight reduction with carbon fiber stuff, it's just for looks IMO

Learning how to drive is better upgrade than suspension parts. Which is why an ignition upgrade is a better choice.
