with all this bable could some one just say which cat i could replace my plug cat with.
are is it better if i just gut the one i have a put it back in ?
you see I when to the dealer and they say I need a new engine, I add it replace. now they say I need a new cat because the car will not go in to high rpm.
now!!! I done like driving it because I can't.
I live some distance from home so the car do very well and the open road and you can feel the power when i am out of the city. now it sucks.

NOW I AM TOO FOR TO TURN BACK.

If you don't have emission inspections and don't mind a CEL then gut it. Gutting it is free and easy to do. If you gut it and don't like it then buy a used cat from someone on the forums when one's available.

I think gutting one of these cats, unless it is already fried and useless, is just stupid. If you really want something free then sell your GOOD cat for 300-400 on the forums and buy a midpipe for 200-300 and pocket some $$$ at least. IMO gutting it is not free it actually costs you money to do so.

Totally agree..

I just find it impressive how people who know that they don't really KNOW ANYTHING about a particular subject, especially highly technical ones like OEM level EFI and emissions controls, can so confidently regurgitate and spew garbage information.

The second o2 sensor is simply a catalyst monitor - that's all it does. it has no impact on fuel delivery, timing curves, or any other system that will affect drivability. It throws a code because that is what OBDII systems were engineered to do! Today's OBDII systems were designed from the beginning to be a sophisticated emissions tattle tale!

With all I have done to the car and it will not go into high rpm
you are saying that the dealers don't know what the real trouble is??
so what is the most likly thing that could cause the car not to go pass 6k and when it does
it bottom out
if I even try 7.5k

where do you want to start?

Clogged air filter? clogged Cat? Clogged fuel injector? water in your gas? Fouled spark plugs? ignition coils breaking up as rpm rises? SSV not functioning?

The list could be endless.
