carbign craft license plate backing+2009s

The carbon fiber plate backing does fit properly on my 2009 R3. Its probably all 09s. It will work and you can use it, but it looks ghetto due to the gaps between the carbon fiber backing and the left/right sides of the body molding. It fits perfectly flush in the molding for the 04-08. Id post pics but im too lazy. Just an FYI for you 09'ers out there.
