this header thread has turned into a tranny thread, i'll play along. my stock s1 tranny with 75k street miles wasn't getting into gears smoothly and was grinding into 5th. i put the 5.5" twin clutch in and it shift like nothing ive driven before. it slides into each gears with very little effort and no longer grinds going into 5th. the moment of inertia is so small, the sychro doesnt have to do much work and less force on the shift fork also. the only thing im not sure of is if the unsprung disks will have any negative impact on longevity of tranny.

obviously this setup is not practical for street driven cars.

I just install versatune I am heading dyno tonight
To see if I can squeeze way some Hp from the Header !!!

Interesting theory on flywheel and clutch
Are u still using same Transmission?
I always thought unsprung disc could destroys sick Transmission faster !!!
This happens to S2000 guy a lot , after switch to Unsprung clutch

On my one of old Rx7(first gen )I am driving 5.5 Twin disc
On street too one of best response and most fun to do
