The midpipe is set to go into full-production and the first seven pipes will ship out soon. REAL soon.

p.s. Carlos, I was writing my post at the same time you were writing yours so, apparently, there has been a sincere emotional element to this for all of us. And to think I cared little about developing yet another midpipe...............
that's awesome. glad to see the masses support your business model.

just think, as soon as you finish this product we can all start harassing you about the next one.

Next new product is in the works already. I've leaked a little info on it in some thread somewhere.
Looking at maybe next week or shortly there after for the first finished model to be done.

I'll have to engrave it for you. The "Sharpie" will burn right off.

If the "artwork" resembles this... or has anything at all to do with this... I'm totally in.

This is something I cannot wait to get installed on my own RX8. I'm looking forward to the final design!

yep quite a crazy ride. Its not even about the time, I waited quite a while for the coils but almost 3/4 of a year later they still kick ***. I guess in a cheezy way its about the passion. Its not everyday someone seeks to develop a product of quality for the rx8 or even a product at all. Like everyone in this thread I just hate to see something good run into trouble, like my undertray and the mysterious object in the road lol.

The passion is certainly there that's for sure. Solving problems is a big part of the driving force but making parts that we, as RX8 owners, would want on our own cars helps to shape the process as well. In the case of the mid-pipe, there are tons of these things out there. If we were going to make one it would need to look/sound the very best as well as having excellent fittment and quality.

I think we've hit all those elements. I'm looking forward to hearing about the enjoyment others get from this exhaust. I've spent plenty of time driving around with this midpipe and even drove around using my old pipe to see the difference.

I don't know how I drove around with my previous pipe for 2 years. The sound this new midpipe makes with my cat back is wonderful.

It's funny but the "Issues" we run into with our work are all very small and trivial when we look back at them. But it eats at us. We have our own standards that each of us try to live up to. So if we can't please ourselves how can we feel like we can please other people with our work and products.
That's why we strive for the best. That's why it takes us a little longer to perfect it. Perfection does not come quick and easy.

Except in my case.
