Best Way to Get a Glassy Smooth idle?

I am holding off on doing any serious modding until the ECU issues are worked out. I am waiting for GReddy to fix the emanage issues as well before i go turbo, so in the mean time I'd like to improve the little things on my car. The engine revs really smooth and uneventful, but my idle is not as smooth as i'd like it to be. What ways can i use to improve my idle? I have just a canzoomer installed now.

thanks

Try grounding kit. Might not give you much hp, but is supposed to smooth idle out a bit.

We are working on the ECU which should fix the idle problems. The the Megasquirt thread in this section for the ECU work we are doing.

The biggest problems with the idle are the rpm's it idles at and that at idle, the car switches from firing leading then trailing spark, to trailing then leading. with the Megasquirt, we will always fire leading then trailing regardless, just like the rx7's.
