The other Blitz intake also looks nearly the same as this...the blitz one can adjust the amount of air being sucked...

it is basically a short ram that will also pull in some warm air from the engine bay. Not the "best Intake"

But there's nothing 'ram' about it. It's a filter on the end of a short tube.

Maybe they could not get it to run well on the RX 8, so they added a louver to adjust the air so you can get it to run on any car.
