Considering it comes with 3 Defi gauges, it's not that bad . The gauges are about $300 each! And it comes with the Defi control box as well, which goes for around $150.

Defi gauges aren't cheap, but they are the ROLLS ROYCE of gauges - the quality is second to none.

Not like 1500 is all that much... If you really want to get it, get it.

 

I wouldnt buy anything that wasnt top of the line for this car, if you want cheap parts, go buy a sohc civic.

 

does it cover that speaker in the middle dash? you know which one im talking about. There is a speaker up there somewhere, does it cover it?

I think this gauge package is also available from www.japanparts.com for close to $1500 before shipping. Very nice, but very pricey. The hood they mount in sits in the same basic location as the Nav system does, in front of the dash speaker. Installing it involves cutting the dash too.

 

that'll be really cool it can pop up and down if you want it like the navigation comes up and down

there are a couple companies that sell just the pod so if you want different gauges. The only problem with those is they lean a little more to the right (driver) Jspec.

The MS ones are nice because they shoot straight out.

Of course this part isnt that fessible if you have navigation.

 

A couple of questions JT:

Are the gauges in metric or celcius?
Do they plug right in?
What does the controller do?
would you ship it out here for anything les than $1500!!!

 

damn that is a FREAKING RIP OFF... DO NOT BUY IT FOR $1500. the gauges are like $800 TOPS the little holder is like $100 CUSTOM MADE TOPS! the brain for the gauges are like $200 TOPS. and install is like $100 TOPS!

 

add all that up and you get 1200.00
