Another Mid-Pipe Question

Givin I already own the RB exhaust. I want to know how the RP mid-pipe will sound with my exhaust, and when I purchase the RP, do I need to buy the bolt and gasket kit as well? One more thing.. do they come with a hanger now? Sorry I know that this has proably been asked a gazillion times.

I have both the RP supercat and the RB exhaust and they compliment each other well especially at WOT. With regard to the hanger i had one welded on, its ur choice. With regards to the gasket...you don't need it. Use the ring from the stock cat and you will be fine. I have had mine on for a while and no probs.

I think he is talking about the RP racepipe, not the supercat. With the supercat it sounds aggressive, but not too loud. I'd imagine with the racepipe it would be a bit louder, but shouldn't be too bad.

The supposedly "new" version of the RP supercat I order 6/30 and showed up this past Thursday did not have a hanger installed.

midpipe without cat is going to sound like crap with an aftermarket exhaust.

Unless you're looking for really loud droning. Even at 2,000 rpm.

This applies if you're NA.

his site may not have these listed, but he still has them up. it's a good thing i bookmarked it. haha
I have the combo as well, and it definitely compliments the RB exhaust. makes Rev8 sound stock by itself.

is there an obvious difference in sound with the rb and rp supercat combo?

if you heard the car before and after the supercat was installed you would be able to tell the difference right away right?

I didn't install a hangar on mine and no problems for me in the last 6 months. I'm actually considering a Dynomax Bullet resonator to quiet mine slightly. I wish I would've done it back when I installed it to start with.

On longer trips, the drone at about 70-75 mph gets a little bothersome. I'm talking about a minimum of 2-3 hours in the car.
