AEM CAI without undertray cover
Hello everyone, wanted to ask if there would be a potential risk by installing an AEM CAI without having the undertray cover? I just bought the intake and arrived today, was getting ready to start removing the front bumper cover to install it and realized that my undertray was gone. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Was thinking since the undertray is missing, water could easily be absorved by the intake filter but not sure it would be enough to damage the engine.

Yes I read about that too and will definitely have to get one, have the mod bug and anxious to put the intake now. Would I be taking a big risk by installing the intake as is right now and drive the car without the undertray until I buy it which more than likely be next week?
