Put it on an aircraft carrier and use the catapult system.

Get the twin turbo system from a 1993-1995 RX-7. It will give you an instant 120 whp and the best part is that it's a direct swap. Trust me, I've done it to mine and it only costs about $200 bucks!

light weight flywheel, mid pipe, BHR ignition, AP under drive pulley, and 4.777 gears. you will feel the mid range torque a lot more and it will be slightly quicker.

Love the smart asses arround here.. this quote here about the only real answer you'll get, or throw on a turbo and say goodby to your retirement fund. An 8 isnt exactly a high torque drag car, its about the turns, the handeling the stability. Flywheel, exhaust and gearing change will effect it verry little, but your not going to get the thrown back in the seat fealing your looking for, an 8 throws you to the side not to the seat.

Cornbred this is just asked all the time, if they searched it would probably take them all day to go through the mass amount of results out there.

Putting power at the top, because that is what everyone goes for first.

I think you could be the one to finally complete the full Viper swap.

I might be getting old but I am with Cornbred and RIWWP. A one liner that helps is better than a smarty pants comment.

If you are 6-speed MT, drive in the 6500-8500 RPM range; you'll be happier but your wallet will not. If you cannot feel the difference, you have an issue to troubleshoot.

Oh... and remember, lateral acceleration is more satisfying than linear acceleration.
