about to buy a midpipe.. which one should i get??

my stock cat is done.

I either want a Racing Beat Dual-Res pipe,

or the Corksport Dual Res pipe.

Listen to this corksport and tell me what ya'll think

[EMBED]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT1d3U2Fz8E&feature=related[/EMBED]

If their price is comparable to the Racing Beat I will have a tough decision.

Also one more question, is the exhaust scent real bad running a straight pipe?

if you make sure not to stop at any traffic lights, you won't smell anything abnormal!

alternatively, put your AC on recirculate.

You won't be disappointed with the Racing Beat mid-pipe.
Never heard the Corksport live in person to say fairly the RB is the better pipe.
Its hard to judge by video clips alone.
At first I didn't like the new RB mid-pipe after watching a video clip, but after hearing it in person, its my #1 pick so far.

Honestly the only time I smell the fumes are at startup and sitting in heavy traffic... even with the windows down

get the turboxs exhaust.

it comes with a free race pipe. woooo.

most midpipes cost $200-300. most exhausts cost $500-700. might as well spend $500 on the turboxs and knock both out. then buy an accessport with the money you saved.

i don't think you can go wrong with the RB ware - especially if sound is an issue for you.

The turboxs has a nice sound. Dozer has one on his car with stock exhaust. Sounds pretty nice. I just got a AP DR midpipe. I can't wait to put it on.

turboxs is aite... RP supercat sounds nice, AP dual res is my favorite. you'll get a different sound depending on what exhaust you pair it with. i have RP + AP exhaust and i think it sounds so much better than my friend's AP + Greddy SP2

I had to google that header.

I have this on my RX8. The fit is good, the ceramic coating is great and we were really surprized by the dyno numbers. +28HP from just this alone. We're anxious to see how this does when we get rid of the CAT. Install was easy, but we needed some extensions to get to the bolts on the motor. Overall, we're really pleased.
