2nd resonator
2nd resonator
Okay so my turboxs is loud as **** and I want to quiet it down, I was thinking about having a second resonator welded in because that would be several hundred cheaper than the RB dual res midpipe.
anyways I was looking at a few . . .

something cheaper that I just found off of google, this may be a bad idea. link
what do you guys think of doing this to quiet it down just a little bit and kill the little drone thats there

Just because you throw a 2nd resonator on there doesn't mean its going to sound good.
I've heard 3 DR mid-pipes in person... the AP, the RB, and the MazSport.
Each one has a different sound, though the RB and MazSport pipes sounded so similar, we needed to hear them side-by-side just to tell the slight difference.
The AP was still loud and annoying.
So what I'm getting at is if you're looking for a quiet sound, don't be disappointed when you add a 2nd resonator and it doesn't sound good or doesn't quiet it down more than you would have liked.

Ill just not waste my money on butchering up my current mid pipe and save a few more paychecks and spend the 300+ on the RB or MazSport DR and sell the turboxs one here on the forum.
I dont want to loose all my rumble and I do still want it to be loud just maybe a tad bit quieter without the little drone thats there

^dude... GREGS... is turbo'd with a Dual Resonated Midpipe... Im not sure which midpipe.. but his **** sounds stock at cruising speeds and when he steps on it... its PERFECT. I know turbo'd cars souind different than NA but man...you should look into it... I would go with the RB midpipe anyways...
oh here it is....I'm all over it now because I love the sound of clip #2 as compared to clip #1
