2009 Touch-Screen Nav?

Hi all,

Has anyone heard of the 2009 touchscreen navigation system being available as an "aftermarket" part, either sold by Mazda (US or Japan) or any other company?? I know this is may be a bit hopeless, but it's worth a shot... I have an R3 and couldn't stand that I couldn't get the touchscreen as an option when I bought it. It's going to be a pain to get it installed as the whole center console area seems to revolve around the touchscreen, but nothing matters if the actual hardware is not even available...

Any input?

There is a Mazda JDM adapter for installing after market stereo in 09.
I'm not sure if it will work on US car.
But my friend has JDM 09 RX-8. It works.

Part no. is "F189-55-220A" for face plate
and "FE01-V6-025" stereo holder.

You will still need adapter wire to hook from new stereo to OEM speakers.
