Has anyone listened to a RB DR and a BHR with a similar setup?

If so, can you tell any differences in noise levels?

From what I've read, looks like the RB is quieter, is that correct? Is it obviously quieter or only when paying special attention?

Thank you.

Nobody out here has a BHR. But if Ray, or anyone else, is willing to send us one out to film with we will be glad to compare it to the RB for ya.

I placed an order a few days ago. Got a call today - there's a backorder on some parts, so it will be a while before they come in and the exhaust assembled. No ETA.

something to consider too when you watch the exhaust videos - a new exhaust component will usually deepen and settle once you have a few thousand miles on it. It takes a while for them to get coated with carbon

I've always wanted to get a DR midpipe due to the fact that I want to get an intake. It makes the idea of the extra "noise" with the intake a little more inviting. for a DD it just seems a little more tolerable.

I currently run the rb dual resonated pipe with the rb exhaust. I am also turbo'd. The car is so amazingly quiet, it barely sounds like it's on while idling outside.

that's exactly how mine was, except I had mazsport dr midpipe and agency power catback plus my turbo

I went back to my agency power midpipe...sounds great with the turbo...NA sounds like ****...hahaha

when I was NA the mazsport pipe sounded sexy with my AP catback tho...the turbo muffles it a lot...

a turbo is about 2/3rds the muffling sound as the stock cat. So turbo + quiet exhaust + dual muffler midpipe should be friggin' quiet!

Same setup I have.
I thought about selling my MazSport mid-pipe.
But hearing my setup next to another 8 with the new Racing Beat mid-pipe and an AP cat-back, they sounded so similar that I couldn't justify spending the money just to have the ability to install my cross members.

I have had my cross members off for so long..
After I put the AP midpipe back on I spent awhile digging around my garage looking for those things...and the bolts

do the crossmembers actually DO anything other than offer a little protection? They sure are not stiff enough to offer anykind of chassis help.

I didn't notice a difference when I had them off
if they do, it's minor

Got my pipe today, installed.... sounds fantastic!!! At idle and lower rpm's it's quiet, almost like the stock cat. Wide open throttle sounds like a real sports car It's just so clean and smooth through the revs. I don't know why that pipe makes such a difference, a lot less pop and gurgle than the AP midpipe. Also, the resonators are about twice the size. Great product!

i have my RB midpipe installed since 3months.
the two resonators totally burned out after that time..
there only two empty cans now and it sounds like ****!
i had several midpipes installed and all totally burned out after a few months.

i think the only midpipe that hold longer is the bhr midpipe..

cheers

Damn, that sucks... hope mine lasts longer than that. I've had the RB cat-back for a long time with no issues. I've always felt that RB made good quality stuff.

Yes, RB make good quality. thats the reason i had choose their midpipe.
i think any midpipe with standard resonators don´t life long on a rotary engine..
thats my 3rd resonated midpipe and all of them burned out.
the funny thing is, that i´m NA
