Just got back from a 1,000 mile roadtrip to Pensacola, Destin, Panama City Beach, etc. for a week, and no RX-8's to be seen except mine. I received complements from everyone, especially cruising Alt 98 on the back beach road. The security guard at the condo's used to own an FB which was converted into a dune buggy.
From Nashville, throughout the panhandle not a single RX-8, but many people seemed to know the car.

So, where's everyone at?

Side note: why in the hell are there so many PT Cruisers in Alabama?

I was wondering, a lot of people recognized it, but I didn't see one whatsoever on my whole trip.

 

I was out of town for a week or you would have seen me. Rotaryred and I live close to 98 and I see him on the road all the time. You must have just been around at inopportune moments. There is also a Blue 8 near us though I cannot ever get in contact with them when I see them on the road.

Fritzfry, my wife and I are planning on making the Tallahassee cookout but we haven't been able to finalize everything.

Rotaryred, I plan on making a trip to MPH Automod soon but we have been running the roads lately. Hopefully you haven't seen any fire or police vehicles around my house for the past two weeks.

I know theres a few here in Pensacola. Mine is black w/o spoiler. Though I was house bound all weekend, was looking after a sick puppy. Other than my car there are the following in Pcola:

1 Black w/ spoiler
2 Blue w/ spoiler (1 military, 1 not)
1 Blue w/o spoiler (military)
1 Silver w/ spoiler (military)
1 Silver w/o spoiler (military)

If you're wondering how I know they're military, we all have a sticker that goes on the windshield. The red sticker is enlisted, the blue is officer. Plus when they're on base and you see them in uniform, it helps. It seems that I'm the only one of the military owners who is enlisted... weird.

I'd also like to meet a few other owners. Rotaryred and I are close enough to each other we could yell and get the others attention.
