Greetings from Afghanistan! I miss going to the meets, reading this thread kinda sucked lol. The only good thing about being here is that I have been able to buy some parts. I will be home on mid-tour leave in mid April, so I will try to set something up to see all you guys. But I am stoked about the parts I ordered.
BHR Ignition, RE-medy water pump, BHR Flywheel, ACT Clutch, RB gauges, AEM intake, touchscreen DVD headunit, Metra Kit, and steering wheel control adapter for stereo. Only other thing to get on leave is a 10" sub and then I gotta install it all. That should keep me busy for about a day lol..

Wow their are a ton of you in tampa area. Much more activate then the rx7 community here as of late.

Well,

Sounds like I missed a good Dupont. But I was on a week cruise that left Miami that day. The down side to the trip came home to a 8 that would not start.

Turned out to be flooded, lucky Mazda towed it for free and warranty the whole things. So back up to 100% now.

So when is the next meet?

We were on the Liberty, but it was a bahamas, st thomas, san juan and grand turk.

7 day trip, that was badly needed. No phone calls and no internet.

Any of you guys coming out to Dupont tomorrow? Chris and I will be there, we usually meet up at the Cracker Barrel on Ulmerton and then roll in to Dupont together.

 

As the participation from all you TAMPA friends has deminished over the last few months we now just roll straight to dupont. The event is starting earlier and earlier and it continues to grow and there are less and less available parking spots. Becasue of this we need to start getting there earlier I have decided that meeting at cracker barrel is somewhat too time consuming bc we never know who is actaully showing up there.

We hope to see some of you guys back out to the monthly meet!

Bondo- Darkpoison187 is correct, I drive a VR one but I am currently in ***-crackistan, so my uncle is driving it right now... but I will be back for leave in a couple weeks so I will be driving it again for a couple weeks until I head back. What do you do at MacDill?

 

I drive a VR also, ive seen one on base with a CF hood not sure if thats you. I feel like ive seen all the ones on base by now lol. Im a KC135 Crew Chief and deployed aswell. Over in Al Udeid bleh
