Not sure if anyone would be interested, but Im affiliated with Team Styles which is a Tampa based car club. We usually get together on the weekends and are laid back dont sweat it if you cant always show up. I have known other car clubs that get really **** about certain things. if anyone wants more info, show some interest and I will fill you in. We have mostly imports and I head up the Mazda side of things. We are just setting up a sponsorship with mad hatters mufflers .
not sure if you are talking to me, police34, but the crew is meeting at a car wash grand opening on Hillsborough and Macdill.
I wont be able to make it, but I have been talking to another member through PM's and I think he is going to try to make it sat afternoon.

Anyone willing to check out a Miata that I am considering purchasing down there? It's at
Autoquest Express
866-454-1758
5242 66th St N St. Petersburg FL.

1,100 miles away from me, and if you look at the picture it looks like the hood is bent, though the dealer insists it's an optical illusion. I've asked for some pictures, but some in-club verification would be awesome
If someone is willing to go check it out, I am willing to reimburse with food or beer when I fly down to pick it up
Haven't committed yet, waiting on the VIN check and confirmation that the hood fits properly without damage.

Got pics back, looks like the hood is straight, was just popped open during the first pics I guess. Still would like someone local to swing by if possible.
If I don't hear anything by the time I land in CA tomorrow (allowing for the daily update emails), I'll assume it's a no

Ok fellas, sorry for the late notice, but we have been having some scheduling conflicts with class and work and family stuff. You guys know how it is. This meet was originally scheduled for May 2nd, as has been posted in the Mazda section for a minute. The meet is at the same location!!!! If youve been to any of our other rotary meets at Desoto, then you know what to expect. For those who havent, its a great opportunity to come out and chill with local rotary guys, enjoy some food, talk some shop and maybe play in the water a lil (now thats its nice outside). This is how it generally works. We ask that people attending bring something for the cookout, so there will be a list attached to this. If you would like to come out, please post what you plan on contributing (more people = more food) that way there is enough for everyone attending. Thanks.
For those that dont know how to get to Ft Desoto park. Take the nearest interstate to I275 S. Take I 275 S to the Ft Desoto/ St. Pete Beach exit. There will be a 50 cent toll. Follow that road till you see the turn off for Ft Desoto (will be turning left). Go over the drawbridge, past the 7/11, to the park entrance. There will be a 35 cent toll. Enter the park, keep going till you get to the stop sign. There will be a flag pole in front of you. Turn Right (north beach). Keep following the road till you get to the end (roundabout) you will have just passed the parking lot full of rotaries... no worries tho, keep following through the roundabout and then turn right into the parkinglot. Park and enjoy the fun.
For those coming from South of Pinellas county... The directions are the same, except you will take 275N to the beach exits.
List:
RotaryKidd --
NI_Racing -- coolers, ice, drinks (Pepsi, coke, sprite, water).
Tito12a -- hot dogs, hot dog buns and condiments.
DeceivingHonda --
