just got the sohn omp delivered to my door step. I was hoping a lil guy from fedex named jeremy was gonna jump for the doorbell button but I guess he hasnt gotten the job yet?

Seriously though, I plan on putting it in, in the near future just need to decide what I am going to use for a reservoir. maybe another washer bottle? I would love to get some catch cans and try that route. Anyone know a good place to buy oil catch cans?

Washer fluid bottle works great. If you get a small container, you run the risk of it running dry and then you're going to really regret messing with the OMP.
Sometimes the washer bottle is really low and I didn't even drive that many miles, so ... be careful not to underestimate. I used to pop the hood and check every time I parked.
Anyway, OMP install is easy without the turbo piping in the way - it's just 3 bolts. The PITA is getting the gasket to stay in place and the bolts to thread back in. I need to redo mine cause it's got a slow leak because I ended up tearing the gasket and installing it without one. It didn't leak for about 2 years.

I have a clear bottle installed. That's the only way you'll know if it's low. Washer bottle holds 1.5 quarts of oil.
So any of you guys down for a meet this month?

hey everyone sorry i haven been on in awhile or out to any meets... im out doin the Coast Guard thing. but hopefully i can get to a meet after the new year. hope to see every one soon!
