Hey, I've seen a Silver rx-8 in the FSU parking lots lately. Anybody from here? Are you student or faculty or what? Just cruisin for fellow rotary owners...

 

My twin is about to be up at FSU, so you'll see mine a lot up there. i donno about the other one there...I'm down here @ UF, but uhh...around the beginning of aug. you should start seeing another one randomly appearing. We'll have to meet up and you can meet my sis and teach her about cars...Goodness knows i gave up awhile ago! hehe!

 

if you guys decide to meet up, lemme know and i'll try to round up the local rotaries (4 or 5 lol!!)...i have only met one 8 owner here, nordic green, cool color...

I will also be visiting FSU a lot. Alumni here and girlfriend is still finishing up. Put something together when Fall starts and I will be there!

 

I was hoping I could find this person. Imagine if it were a professor!

 

We're up here too and i'm currently enrolled at FSU. My Fiance and i got our Velocity Red 6MT last september and have seen a number of them around. haven't stopped to meet any of the other owners because they just don't seem to acknowledge us when we acknowledge them... but i do remember getting the attention of a Red FD one day.

at any rate, we live off of High Road on Greentree CT so if you're in the neighborhood just look for the car, we won't be far from it!

Cool stuff. I've yet to see a single FD up here and that's made me sad. Then again I rarely stray too far from the campus but I know where you are. I've only seen 2 FC's. One was fine but the other was this orange ricey peice of garbage. Anyhow maybe we'll meet up sometime.

 

i'm heading over to Pcola this weekend to help a friend build a motor for his modded S5 turbo. i ported his housings for him and i need to get some more work done on one of the housings before i go.

do you have a 7 or an 8?

Shhh, don't say that. It will hear you! Motor is good *knocks on wood*. I just started my first semester here at FSU and am going it without a car for now. I'm worried about 2 things. The hills, ditches, etc that can swallow a lowered FD around here as well as I feel like the car and/or wheels are gonna get jacked around here.

i don't know of very many cars around here that have lost their wheels to theives. And if we can get around town in a new RX8 then your lowered FD won't be much of a problem either. do you have any other work done to the car? power mods? computer mods? you need any tuning done? :-)

Back from the Dead!

Okay so I've seen a blue one driving around today. who is it? I'm so sad to say I've yet to see an FD here yet

 

students with FD's are rare... they are pretty well known for their maintinence issues and parents don't like that mix :-)

anyways... keep in touch, maybe we should get a group together to watch the upcoming season opener!
