Hey everyone, just wanted to give everyone a heads up, we are having a Mazda meet in south florida on the 31st and wanted to invite everyone that drives a Mazda. We are having a BBQ and everyone is welcome. Please post here is you have any questions or is you are interested in going.

I know we tend to want to stay away from the immature crowd but the few I've met from this crowd are a good bunch of guys.

Hay MX...were you at the last Auto-X in Hialeah? Cause I was there in my Titanium Rx8. I did not get to race but I was sitting next to the cars getting ready to race.

Ah damn.. I woke up at around 1130am and forgot about this meet.. I went to BJs to buy a tv for my room and just forgot until I got on here.. Great it's almost 2.. Oh well..

 

Not nearly the turnout I was expecting, about 15-20 cars total Id say, the majority being Protege's. We had 3 rx8s there at any given time, 5 came through in total, which is a better turnout than the FD crowd, so yay for us!

It was a really low key event, looks like everyone else was about to leave after I got outta there, so I imagine it was done with at about 4pm or so.

The attendance at its peak was roughly:

*8-10 Protege's (both MS and regular)

*3 RX8's (5 came through in total)

*3 FD RX7's

*1 FC RX7

*1 MS3

*1 MS6

*1 Mazda 3

*1 RSX Type-S (wtf???)

*1 NA Miata (1991)

*1 MS Miata (2005)

Overall it was a pretty diverse turnout, friendly people, and some nice rides to look at. Nothing spectacular, bu certainly worth showing up to.

My GF was walking around taking photos while I was obsessivly chatting about RX8s, so Ill post up some pictures tonight or tomorrow morning if I get lazy.

It was good seeing everyone out there, and I hope we can all get together again sometime in the near future (maybe further south this time??) Check yall later!

 

yeah, that was the point of the meet. it wasn't going to be something big, just a couple of mazda enthusiasts getting together. thanks to everyone that showed up.

Dang it man! Why did I have to come back to GA?!?! Well I got the job in West Palm Beach so now I just have to find a place to live for as low a price as possible and get the rest of my finances in line and maybe I'll be able to join you fellas. You guys take care and sorry I missed it.
