Greenwood. There's a handful of RX-8's running around here. My son's swim teacher drives a blue one. I've seen a couple of gray ones, a white one, green one. An associate at work broadsided an inattentive teenager in a yellow one that pulled out in front of him . . . . (everyone was OK - the RX-8, unfortunately, not so much).

I seen a White 09-10 down in Orangeburg. Blinged out.

There's a black RX-8 S1 down here and a Gray S1 model that I see parked once in a while. I've been meaning to catch up with the Grey one.

i have a 04 VR. im at the weapons station in goose creek. we have close to 5 rx8's on my part of the base alone. But every other 8 owner here doesnt even know that they have a rotary. it makes me want to /wrists:/

 

I've met only a few others in the Chuck, but except for the guy who just moved from Florida no one knows what they've got. :roll:

 

Do you know of any 8 meets or meets that 8s will be attending?

any up and coming events or meets this fall or winter yet? i should be back from afghanistan by july, trying to meet some people around charleston/beaufort area

 

so i found a meet on sat. at 930pm on Montgomery Crossing and Abercorn next to subway in savannah. it had decent cars and cool ppl. from there we went t
o a bigger car meet that had a bit more cars. ill probably be going again next weekend. my car was the only rotary out there so it be cool if we could get a bit more out there.

how does the RB midpipe sound? not sure if i want the RB or AP, i got the borla but i think the AP will produce way too much sound

 

Ive had both versions of the rb midpipe. The non resonated midpipe with the stock exhaust makes a buzzing sound, i had the hks hipower with it after and that **** was loud as ****. I have the resonated midpipe with the stock exhaust right now and it sounds stock. I wanna get the hks hipower again but it will have to wait till i come back from deployment. What are your plans with your 8? i see it in your sig but all motor those mods dont do much.

 

motor wise not sure yet man, i'm just buying stuff while im out here in afghan for sound and slight performance and looks, when i get back ill get down and dirty with the engine, new wiring, ignition, but other than that not sure yet
