Yeah that is because ive been to broward alot to meet some of you guys, i went for boomers, and ive been to towers plenty, Im tired of going up there to meet with 1 or 2 rx-8 owners, Ive met with you, ive met with superman (who doesnt post anymore) and ive met a few others.
And so since there are so many owners here in miami I would like to meet them here in miami. Ive had the prevelage of meeting some people here, and even Munche came down to visit us so I could see and ride in his Supercharged 8 (drool) but I grew tired of barely anyone showing after giving notice well over a week in advanced, so I gave up.

The only 8 driver I've met is SoFL_Rx8.. We had lunch one time.. And that's about it. I'd be cool meeting some more local ones..

Hey, guys stop pointing fingers.
this needs to be organized properly, with much longer notice than 1 week.
I want to have a decent meet, and until there are enough people interested no dates will be set.
With that said, let's compile a list of places that could potentially accommodate a party of 30-40 cars, with some tables, bbq area, plenty of shade, and parking lot, and no cops to bug us?

About my previous post...It was not intended to point any fingers necessarily. I've just seen it too often in the past where a group can not come to comprimise on location and it screws things up.
I am willing to drive an hour if necessary.

cavemancan I live in the oakland park pine island area....is that your silver 8 i see on pine island parked all the time??
Well lets start a list of people that will show up for a SATURDAY meet at a LOCAL PARK.. maybe even the race track on 27 just south of pines..I'll sart the list if we can get a group of ten to commit I'll try to get a group discount for use of the track...its only a 1/8 mile track but whateva...

alright i haven't been around do to the fact that i cracked 1 of my rear wheels but am back up and running now, was up with that meet we gonn do it or what

I'm surprised you noticed my car parked there since I am usually working about 10 to 12 hour days.

This is a great start...I'm thinkin the 16th which is not this saturday but the next one so we can get as many people as possible and give people enough time to plan for it. We can meet up at the track on US 27 just south of Pines Blvd ( I'm calling them when we get a group of ten) Then we can make plans for future meets and maybe even run the 1/8 mile track...if you think you may want to run the track let me know i believe there is an additional cost for that.. I cant wait i'm looking forward to this its been awhile..please feel free to throw some ideas out there

Its the old airport strip on US27 just south of pines blvd an old airport strip that was converted into a drag strip its not huge but better than nothing...its only 1/8 mile i'm going to take a ride out there today and talk to the people out there and see whats good with a group discount..And the 16th it is..

hey im currently new here on this forum. im looking for a SFL meet. i have been to many with my 2001 eclipse GS-T. they were alot of fun. we had very good turn outs. we have meet from orlando to key biscane. had the BBQ adn had a great time. id like to see a meet. so lets ee what we can get together here. im willing to drive.
if interested. repost with places to meet at. then we can decide what will be the best place. we can have someone local to that area and check it out make sure its do able for the day.
then everyone will pitch in for snacks and w.e else.
