On my way home from campus in the shuttle, i barely caught a glimpse of a silver 8 around the Engineering garage. That would make the 5th 8 i've spotted in the orlando area. Any chance that the one's i've spotted visit this board?

I've seen red, grey, blue, silver...oh yeah and a black w/ a handicap tag that never moves...so i guess 5 overall not including mine.

 

I saw a silver yesterday on University and Dean. The guy driving it almost crashed because he was looking at my car:D and the traffic had stopped on his lane. It was kind of funny. I have only spotted two so far: The Silver and the Black. The Silver looked sweet and was the color of my preorder, but the blue really won me over.

 

Wait a minute...you own a Blue 8. About three weeks ago on 434 I was driving side by side a blue..I was in my protege honking and waving at the driver who just ignored me and made a left turn before 50. Now, there's a very good chance that Orlando has more than one Blue owner (heck, I've got a blue as well)..but that would be cool if that was you.

Do you remember anything about that? It was a Saturday, early afternoon on the 23rd (I only remember b/c it was the weekend before classes started for us...my memory isn't that good, nor was i that obsessed w/ this encounter!).

Anyway, I was a bit insulted that the driver paid me no attention...but then again i can understand..cuz i normally dont look over at everybody that gawks at my vehicle as i cruise around.. Plus, if i were in the 8 instead of the protege, we probably would have acknowledged each other. But til now, I've still not run into another 8 on the road...Let's have a meet! Go to universal or something...

 

i own the silver rx-8 at ucf... ya man i almost crashed.. I was already being distracted having my bball team in there singing then they told me too look to my left and bamm traffic slows... i love the brakes on that thing

 

I live around that area (UCF). Sorry, if it was me, that I did not aknowledge you. I usually drive like a d**khead so I just concentrate on the road. My car has the Embry Riddle license frame and ussually is being driven by a good looking guy. How come you weren't driving your 8? I ussually go to bike night @ Steak and Shake on thursdays. Maybe we'll meet over there. How about it adamp316.

Spotted another 8 today..Blue, driving on University around 11ish am...I was on University heading twd campus and just barely saw it, as there were cars and other objects around the median that obstructed my view. By the time i saw it, we were already past each other...just wondering if the other 8 owner spotted me too...

In the Lake Claire apt parking lot today around 6ish when I was leaving. I was parked in the joint Communications Bldg/LC lot in front...There should be some sort of meet...anyways later.

 

You might have caught a glimpse of me motoring around too. I live down in Eastwood off Alafaya Tr. I've seen a silver and red driving around in the neighborhood, but not any others out on the road. Getting 19 MPG w/AC on....feeling pretty good about that considering some of the posts. How about an informal gathering at Sonic...University & Goldenrod? Fri night 8ish? Any takers? Other places/times? Kick some tires and have some ice cream....

 

Do you live in Lake Claire on UCF? I saw you parked there again...and then upon passing by the laundry room, I saw you pulling out of the spot.

No, I live in Eastwood off South Alafaya Trail. Wasn't me....but I'm close.

 

I live in Winter Park, but am in that area of Orlando pretty often too- haven't seen any other RX-8's at all.

 

Do you have LP I-CANDEE? I've seen that car several times. Last time in Winter PArk Pines Golf.

Anyone with a Silver RX-8 live in the Village of Science Drive? I've seen one parked there everyday.

 

I have one of the Red's around UCF...I have Red painted calipers and a Marine license plate...I've seen another red, black, yellow and silver around.

 

I'm rollin a Ti Gray with PWNED on the tag.

We should all meet up, I had no idea there was so many of us around here!

 

I'm pretty sure it's the managers, because the car I know he used to drive is never there anymore. He needs to take the dealer decal off the back, it really takes away from the look of the car. I'll never understand why people let car dealerships do that.
