Curious how you really notice someone when they nearly sideslam in your car while theyre making a left but slam the breaks less than half a foot away, and just when youre bout to yell something extremely...shall we say, vulgar... you realize its another rx 8 owner and all anger just drains out, and you wave with a stupid smile on ur face! lol... anyone with a black rx8, w/o spoiler/ appearance package etc, heading out for a publix run on Federal and i believe Cypress Creek Rd on the 20th or 21st? waved, but didnt get a response. Oh and yesterday... silver rx8 heading south on I 95, i blieve taking the 595 connection around 3 o clock? was too far to honk or anything. just curious to see how many rx8 owners are on the forum, and in the ft. laud area.

 

I'm in the general area. We also had a mini-meet in Kendall the other night and had 7 or 8 cars there, along with a couple epople without a 8 yet.

Add to that the 5 other forum members with cars that I know of that didnt go, plus I have started to see them more foten on the street. Saw a yellow last night on Sunrise, and a Red on the turnpike (who was driving quite slow BW, shame on you!).

It's spreading around man.

Brent fridays at Tower shops on I-595 and University in Fort Lauderdale there is a somewhat of a car show with about 300 cars that show up. its pretty nice should check it out from like 6pm to like 12midnight

 

Wish I would have know about the Kendall meet, I would have joined you guys.

I own a Titanium GT w/Appearance and I live in the Coral Springs area. I am curious if anyone wants to see what kind of bulk discount we can get on performance parts. Someone was mentioning a discount on Rotary Extereme cold air intakes. I wonder what other parts we can buy like that. It will be easy to coordinate if we all live in the same facinity.

I have seen maybe 5 in the area. I said hello to two hotties in a Red Automatic RX-8 about a month ago.

 

I cruise mine up from South Dade to the Airport every day. I go up the Turnpike till 874 and merge onto Palmetto Northbound to 836 where I hop off.

Same thing in reverse in the evenings. If you see a Black 8 w/ spoiler, wave!

Can't wait to spot my first 8 while I'm driving mine, I saw a few before I bought mine but none on the road since.

Tomorrow I am 0probably gonna be at a customer site most of the day, but lets tentatively say day after? So friday maybe we hook up for some lunch at la carreta or any of the zillions of places in the area.
