Hey Raz,

As Jerry already stated, there has been quite a change (to put it mildly) with the MRCCFL. I don't think anyone was hypocritical....unless you are referring to someone specific?? But the ones that were voicing thier opinions on this debate from before are not the same ones that started the club/forum you listed. Again if this was aimed for someone specific, then disregard.
As for the MRCCFL, that is a big mystery at this point. For the most part all of which is the result of one persons doing. I also had time vested in the club with Jerry and hated to see how everything went down, but it was out of our control.
If you guys decide to go ahead with trying to form a club of some type, good luck with it, hopefully it will turn out for the best. Just let me know when and where to show up for the food and festivities.....:D

MRCCFL is just fine. A few disgruntled people were spreading false hype. We had a conflict when I confronted some board members on the handling of club funds. Those board members are no longer board members and went around the internet saying MRCCFL is dead and various other lies. That is the limit of the discontent, it wasn't the general membership. Our general membership is happy and satisfied with how I handled the conflict.

There is no other club either. One Bozo thought he saw an opportunity to replace me so he could change the club to RX7 only, but he got a huge boot up his ass promptly. So he threatened to start his own club and I said go ahead. Now its the biggest joke and his website is being ignored.

MRCCFL hasn't changed except we went from 300 members down to 295 as a result of the conflict. That's it. MRCCFL is still recognized internationally and is still regarded as one of the primary clubs in the Mazda rotary community. In fact, right now a documentary if being made of the club.

I apologize if one of our people flamed your efforts. They did not represent my feelings and I would like to know who it was. I geared MRCCFL to cater to the RX-8 from the moment the 8 was on the drawing board in 2001. We have RX-8 members, and sure I would like ALL of you to belong, but if its not your cup of tea and you dont feel you can benefit from a seasoned established club, then there is nothing wrong with some of you forming your own group... you will still be welcome and included at MRCCFL events.

I'm in!!, but I have to agree to the people that would rather have a "only 8's club". I like the 7 and all, but... I have the Rx-8 so I might as well go with people that own the SAME car, if not then I'll have to start the "Red Car Club" or something like that, somebody interested maybe?...jejeje

At the end, if we want a Rotary club, we could expect some Autovaz (lada) cars to show up (http://cp_www.tripod.com/rotary/pg07.htm) as well as some heavy machinery vehicles, Bicycles and so on. (http://www.dataphone.se/~berglund)

But don't get me wrong, with ot without 7's, i'll do it!
