Well I bought my RX-8 yesterday after selling my beloved Subaru WRX , so far I love the RX-8's interior!!! it's a lot better than the Subbie......the power is there but since I'm taking it easy on it for the break-in then I havent really compared that part with my old car......now on the handling on Dry roads is defently similar but on the rain I think the Subbie get's the 2 thumbs UP on this part. The looks of the RX-8 are awsome specially in the Titanium with All Black interior.....I'm new to this forum so I will be checking things out very often and will be posting pictures soon of my new baby.

P.S: Any one that is a member of the SCCA please send me a PM with INFO about next gatherings or Autocross events....I used to Autocross my old car....need to start doing the same on my new RX-8.

 

I know AlexCisneros is a great scca contact. As for the WRX vs the 8 in the dry, they can be very competitive and were in the recent autocross I went to.

But in the wet, you really see the wrx and evo8 typically running much faster.

 

Welcome to the forum FX-RX8! AlexCisneros is definitely the guy to contact as far as autox and HPDE events. I think the next autox is Oct 24th. It will be cool for you to meet us and represent with the RX8 crew.

 

Yeah! I might get out of bed on time next time and make the autocross too!
