I asked for and got a ticket yesterday to the ALMS at Road Atlanta this weekend so I'm going to be there!

I was given 3 extra $70.00 tickets to the event. These are "Super Tickets" good for Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is when there will be all of the qualifying and the Star MAZDA race. Sunday is the GT race and, of course, the ALMS Grand Prix.

Here is a link to the schedule:

http://www.roadatlanta.com/GPA-2005-schedule.pdf

I am offering these to fellow/future members of the RX-8 Owners Club of Georgia. These will go to the first 3 persons claiming them. You will need to post your claim here. I'd prefer to give 3 folks a chance, as opposed to all 3 tickets to one individual. Please consider your fellow enthusiasts.

We can work out how to get your ticket to you later.

Hope to see and meet several folks there.

I would like to see where everyone is located in Georgia, so if you all would be so kind, please post your locations so we can start to obtain some bearings for meets, etc.

JD - Stone Mountain, work in buckhead - lunch with fellow 8ers in the area would be nice

If you still have those tickets...I'd like one. I was planning to go anyway to see the Mazda ALMS car and the Speed GT and Touring qualifying.

WHOA! are you the VR with rotary accents that usually parks around the building A/B area? I work down at building C, but park way off in the boonies.

nope, thats not me. I've got a black 8. only had it for a little under a month now. I usually park way at the back, past D.

and i really wasn't thinking...i love black for 10 months out of the year, but for 2, its yellow. hopefully the pollen will let up soon. The other day when i washed my car, i wasn't even through 1/2 of the car before what i had just washed was covered in pollen.

i want the pollen gone because i just got my shipment of zanio and i really want to use it.

so, do you work at atc, or one of the other companies in the complex?

Hmmm ... had not seen the black ... gonna have to look closer ... that makes four in our little world ... and 4 different colors. There is a Tit Grey up around "B" often. You know who owns the SS?

Yeah ... the pollen is brutal. Seems to get worse each year.

Zaino huh? I'm using NXT myself. Look forward to seeing your ride.

Yes, I am at ATC ...you?

Milledgeville, if I am free and have $ for gas I'll try to go anywhere. My girlfriend lives in Lawrenceville. So I'll be in Atl. more now this summer. May try to find Mazcare tomorrow, I'm having a hard time finding directions.

Just past Dobbins AFB headed S. on 41. Make a right (headed South) at the Jim Ellis VW onto Airport Industrial Parkway ... Mazcare is on the right a couple of blocks down ... there is a sign, Charlie's place is around back and down the hill.

Yup, started in january. I work in production (dealer services). And no, I don't know who drives the SS, or the titanium. I think I've seen the titanium 8 around a few times, but not nearly as much as your VR or the SS, who sometimes parks out in the boonies with me and a couple of 350zs.

And if you venture to find my car, monday would be a better day, since its getting a bath on sunday. probably not zaino-ed though. i'm leary about how the pollen would affect the process.

i need to figure out something to do for the pollen inbetween washes, because it gets so dirty (stupid trees). i was thinking california brush, but i've heard mixed reviews on those (some say they scratch, others say they don't), so now i'm at a loss.

Well what do you know? How about that! Come by "A", 2nd floor, UNIX support next week (I work from home Fridays). My desk has the ATC PT Cruiser on the overhead ... like to meet ya.

I've got a California Duster ... it does not scratch ... as long as it's light dust or pollen ... it's the other crap you have to watch.
