Would any here know if the RX-8 will be at the Fort Lauderdale autoahow next week? How could I find out? My dealer has no idea. HELP

 

Hey, fellow South Floridian here. When and where is the Ft. Laud Auto show? I have not heard anything about it! Please please please tell me more!!! NOW!!!

 

They had a Titanium/Chaparral/no NAV RX-8 at the Atlanta Auto Show this weekend. I've heard this car has been at other auto shows so I'd expect to see it at yours too. Someone said he told them he'd pre-ordered one and they let him sit in it.

A friend of mine saw a red rx-8 driving on south beach today with no tag. Im guessing it will be the one at the show. Ill be there for sure on Saturday the 22nd to check it out.

 

Yeah A friend of mine told me he saw a red one on I-95 with dealer plates. I thought he was BS'ing. I will be there sat

 

Hmmm there is a car show here this week too 19th to 23rd. We better have an 8! My friend is going Thursday I'll ask him I'm going Sat but only if the 8 is there.

I too ordered the Titantium gray.

Someone please let us know for sure which 8's are at the show. If there is a Gray one at the show, I'll make the trip from Daytona.

 

Also, if any of you locals has good directions from I95 to the show, That would be appreciated. Dos and donts of where to park and such.

 

I would think you would just take I-95 south all the way until you get to Broward Blvd. and exit there. At that point yhou are like a block away and can ask anyone where the Broward County Convention Center is and they should know. I have the exact address but I don't know exactly how to get there from Broward Blvd. and 95.

BTW: Is that your plate in your avatar? If so, how did you get it already?

 

This is what you do. Take I-95 to broward blvd. Head east to South federal Highway. Turn right to SE 17th str. Make a left onto se 17th. When you get to Eisenhower Boulevard turn right it will be on the left side. Let us know how it went

When I renewed my tag in February, I asked the gal at the DMV if she could check to see if a specific tag were available. She checked and it was available, so I got it. She asked if I was a pharmacist. The tag arrived last week.

Anyhow, the only small problem I have now is that I am supposed to put this on my current car, 90 Accord Ex 4dr. Somehow I do not think so.

So I went to the freakin show, fully expectin to see an RX-8.....not only was it not there, the show was extremely LAME!!! Nothin' to see that I could not see in a showroom here in town except a Dodge Avenger and a 2004 Grand Prix. WHOPPEE!!! I am tellin ya, even if you live across the street, don't bother with this sorry excuse for a show. (hmmm....seems I am being a liitle vague about my feelings here)
