Rotary Only Driving School in Orlando Florida
This would be in conjunction with Evolution Driving School and you would get lots of seat time and lots of instruction.

I would like to do a shortened Phase 1 school and then open up a course layout for fun runs for the rest of the day. So the School would be from 8 a.m. till about 1 p.m. then anyone could run their car for a small fee. This way other can come out and watch the end of the school then get to try out an Autocross in their own car.

Saturday April 3rd is the date of the Rotary only Evolution driving School

So here is all the info I can pass on for now

Cost: $50 -Prefer it paid in advance.

There will be 3 run groups
8-10 a.m.
10 a.m - 12 p.m.
12-2 p.m.

2-5 p.m. will be fun runs for anybody there that wants to run some more or any others that are not in the school and just want to run their cars.


I am laying out the $1500 for this event I will be collecting the cost of the event. I will not profit from this in any way. $50 x 30 drivers = $1500. If we are under 30 drivers good news for you as it equates to more seat time - bad news for me more money out of my pocket.

I will be providing Burgers and Dogs with salads. There will be a limited number of soft drinks so bring something to drink for yourself as well as something to sit on.

Make sure your car is in good shape. Good tires. Battery secure, lug nuts torqued (I will have a torque wrench there) no loose items in the car drivers floor mat removed. Radar detactor and garage door opener removed as well.

We will be inspecting the cars for safety reasons. It is your responsibility to make sure it is up to par.

Too far for me, but sounds like a great opportunity for people to learn how their cars perform

 

An excellent opportunity. Lots of seat time with an instructor. Regular autocrosses you may get 6 minutes of seat time max, LOADS more here.

 

I'd love to do it but have another commitment on 4/3. I've had some instruction from Jean and Jonathon before at a Mercedes 1/2 day school 18 mos. ago. Both are good. I'm sure it will be worthwhile and i'll look for it again. Meanwhile, I'll be trying my 8 out for the first time at Hutchinson Island on 3/28 at an SCCA Coastal Empire autox.:D
