Are u referring to the Raleigh meets/drives? I checked the North Carolina Rotaries and didnt see any meets scheduled...they normally have something the third week of the month right?

 

Damnwhodatb mentioned something about "Raleigh rotories" on FB. Potentially meeting next weekend...? I've wondered if that and NC rotaries were one in the same.

If there is a meet next weekend you gonna make it KB?

I wish I could join up with u guys..I have such a packed schedule between my two jobs, a separation and finding an apartment too....OMG. But it's cool, keep me posted and I'll keep checking the Raleigh rotaries and NC Rotaries for meets.

Yes guys we are different from NC Rotories.. we used to be apart of them but they stopped meeting. We have created the group because of that reason. We have about 18 members on the page, 3 third gen rx7's one with an LS2 swap. Most of us will be meeting up on this Friday with the raleigh meets group. Im in Greensboro/ High point area and have been trying to look for a meet as well just got my 8 about a week ago.

 

Just aquired a 2004 RX8 and I live in Durham. Did this ever came about?

 

After years of wanting an RX8 I finally found a deal on an '08 40th Anniversary edition that I couldn't pass up--bought it 3 days ago. Years ago I had an '86 RX7 and loved it. I'm glad to be back in the rotary world. It doesn't look like anyone has posted to this thread in over 3 years, but I decided to give it a try. I'd be interested in area meets if any are happening.

 

I haven't found myself an RX-8, but I'd be happy to meet with you all as well!

I'm located in sc and wil probably be tied up for a while. I'm here to invite you to join us in May for the deals gap rotary rally. Location is the nantahala village resort outside of Bryson city. We will be there from the 1st through the 5th. It's a great time to enjoy our cars and meet great people, not to mention driving the tail of the dragon.

Nice! I work like 5 minutes away on Capital Blvd. Sadly I work this weekend but I’m down for the 13th.

 

Capital and it's traffic, lol. It'd be nice if we could get some more interest stirring up, Any suggestions on a setting if we could drum up some interest? Plenty of places on Capital. I can think of a few near NC State, Cary, and Glenwood as well.

I just saw this forum. I'm in the Brier Creek area, and graduated from NC state a few years ago.

 

I'm really familiar with the Brier Creek area myself. Used to work there. That wouldn't be a bad area to have a meet at, either. Just have to drum up interest.

Also, NC State grad here as well, going back for engineering, haha.

 

I plan on going to this event at the Cary Towne Center June 22/23. It's a good time, it's cheap, and especially welcome for novices. If you're into racing/competitive driving, I'd highly recommend joining the THSCC. It'd be great if I wasn't the only RX-8 there this time.

 

I've done autocross before, but its been awhile. I actually follow THSCC. I have actually registered for the event at Cary Towne Center, but I'm waitlisted. I'll go either way though I imagine. What class are you in?
Due to my mods, if I get in, i'll be DSP. Kinda sucks when gains from mods yield almost nothing but throw you in a class with cars that do, haha.
