Here are some details about it:

Fast Driving and Twistes!!!

When: May 8, 2004

Where: Meeting up at exit 7 - Pine Forest Rd.

Time: Between 8-9 am.

Hi gals and gents -

Another fun-filled meet up in the panhandle. A bit of the same doing as in Oct of last year. We'll be traveling a 300 mile road trip of fast driving and twistes between Alabama and away from the cities.

Lunch will be a pit stop between where we are going. We should meet up around exit 7 about 730am. Leaving there around 8 or 9.

Why don't you guys from waaaaaaay up there come down to our FL meet. It's for everybody in FL, not just central people....

 

I've gone down there in the past....

Not quite as often as I like. Just something up here to get this area active again.... I think it'd be fun.

i'm not downing your side of FL, just something that's going on. That's all And yes, this is for everyone in FL not just Panhandle FL.

 

I plan on being there...just out of curiosity, what are the different speeding fine schedules here in FL?:D

i'm not too sure, but i'm sure we won't be going TOO fast to get ourselves introuble :D

 

Also, to give us a better meet up at exit 7, we'll be meeting up at the Food World parking lot. After you get off of exit 7, coming from Gulf Breeze / FWB / PC, you should take a left at the light, and after the first light -- you'll see food world on your right hand side.

If you're coming from Moible, Tally etc, I believe coming off the interstate, you'll be making a right and food world will be on the right hand side.

Lets all meet up at the end of the parking lot, so that we can find one another

Also, I need to know of a list who is coming. Please post up here -- it's almost time, about another 2-3 weeks :D :D :D

 

Can you give us an idea of the route you will be taking? Some of us from Alabama may want to catch up with you later.

Yeah, I won't be making this one. On 1 May I am driving to San Antonio, and it is a ONE WAY TRIP! Yep, permanently moving...I'm glad I got to hang out with you all at least once.

Sadly, I'm out. Just found out today that I have a work function that I have to attend.

 

I'd certainly like to make that event, but my wife is still knawing on my butt for all the gas $$$ I spent going to Orlando.

Sorry...I love the area out that way too...I tried my ENTIRE 20 year Navy career to get orders to Pensacola....Jax was as close as I could get. What's the job market like out there? <sigh>

I'm not too sure. I'm still figuring out when I can get it going. I'm thinking of one in Oct, MAYBE nov. Oct is my 21st birthday, so I doubt it'll be in this month.

I've been talking to the member's of the Officer's List about the meets held here to get some ideas.
