Paintless Dent Removal
Paintless Dent Removal
Some jacka$$ dinged my car with his door yesterday and now I have a very noticeable dent on my driver side door. The dent is right on the crease at the top center of the door.
Has anyone ever used paintless dent removal before? Any recommendations on a shop? Will they still be able to remove it even though its on the crease?
Thanks..
***UPDATE***
I finally found a place that could remove this dent for me. The cost was $195 and it took just over an hour. He did the entire process without having to remove any panels or use any power tools. You can't even tell that the ding was there!
He took some before and after pictures...he said he would e-mail them to me so if I get them, I will add them to this thread.
The place was called Dingo's PDR and it is located on US78 in Lawrenceville / Snellville across the street from Dwight Harris VW (where the Pike Nursery used to be).
Excellent work, very happy with the results...I swear you can't even tell the car was ever dented.

Sorry I can't recommend a shop, but I do know that it works and works very well. I parked outside a Publix and went in for a few minutes. When I came out some aXXhole put a ding in my front fender, just in front of the driver's door. My buddy runs a used car dealership in Oakland, FL and had a guy that does this for all his cars. I happened to be there last Saturday when the ding guy was there. He fixed my ding for $20 and it looks like new. You can check in the yellow pages for someone near you. If you're in Orlando, let me know and I can get the guy's name from my buddy.
Had my rear drivers side door(ALUMINIUM ) dented by drunk and got the dents removed by dentless removal looks as new .
They do a great job and Aluminium is not the easiest material to work with.

Oh yeah, it was 3 dents on the crease, half way down, then near the bottom. They got all three through the window and no drilling. I paid $95.
Someone dinged my 8 on the left rear wheel arch, below the fuel door. Paintless dent guy removed it in about 10 mins. He removed the tail light and went in through an existing hole in the body. Set me back $75 but he came to my work and did it. Can't tell it was there now.
Just FYI.. whatever method you use to remove the ding do it ASAP because the molded plastic used on the bumpers as well as the metal has sort of like a "memory" and if you leave the ding too long the metal or plastic will "memorize" that shape and will be alot harder and more $$$ to fix

Pretty sure it's crap and I wonder about that adhesive they use and how it affects the paint
