Hello everyone in the South East! Just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought an 04 rx8 this past weekend and couldn't be more happy with my purchase so far! It's been a while since I had a fun car to drive so I'll be enjoying it for a long time. If your around Charlotte NC let me know.

I'm a big forum user so I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing to the forums. If there are events or get together's in the area I would like to know.

^There's some car meet up at uncc on friday, I don't know much about it, i hear there will be lots of cars there. So me and a few friends are going to check it out, if you are interested, send me a PM.

 

I'm in Pineville, just moved here. I've only seen 2 other 8s so far, including a red one in my apt complex.

nice ride man i am new here too. I am from Concord. I was looking at some rx-8s but ended up going with a mazdaspeed 6. Let me kno if anyone wants some 18" Sportmax wheels i have some that i'd like to get rid of maybe even trade for some stock RX-8 18s.

Oh topgear8 and I saw a blue 8 Friday night up at the university area. Might be the same guy.

 

Seems like I've seen more 8's out recently. On my way up to Boone this weekend I saw 2 yellow RX-8s for sale at two diffferent dealerships.

 

Probably me. I live off Prosperity Ch. Rd. and was at the meet Friday night with some friends. If you were at the meet, you might have noticed my alarm kept going off...

One week today.

Just finally got my car in yesterday, we had it shipped out. So if you see a black RX-8 with OEM pale gold wheels, that's me! Honk & wave if you see me. When are we all meeting up so I can meet the other 8s around here?

Anyone here local looking for Black wheels w/chrome lip? I am looking for some RX-8 stockers. I live in Concord.

 

I just bought my RX8 a month ago I love it, I'm actually in the Concord area, I have been suprised that I havnt seen a lot of these cars on the road around here. I purchased an 05 Grand Touring, it is the favorite car I have EVER driven. So congrats I know you gotta love it.

Wow I had no idea there were do many 8's nearby! We need to schedule a meet for sure. Is everyone familiar with the concord mills mall? That might be a good area to meet up at.

Oh if there are any UFC fans I'm heading to Fox and Hound by Northlake mall for the fight this weekend. 8 drives are more than welcome! I manage professional fighters and one of my guys will be there for the fight so come out and enjoy some good times!

Adino there is an RX-8 Club in Charlotte. Check the boards and we are having a "Road Trip Meet" on the 19th. Otherwise we meet on the first Saturday of the month for a social event.
