New Owner, just saying hello
Hello eveyone
I just picked up a new 2008 40th edition RX8 today, I have been a memeber of this site for a little while and have been thinking about this car for a long time
last time was when I test drove one in 2004, well I got a G35 coupe instead, which was a nice car and had alot of horses, but even that interior and exterior
could not match what the RX8 inspires in me every time I sit in it or look at it
don't get me wrong I liked my G but this car is so much more refined and luxery
so I traded my 05 G35 in with the Volk rims and Brembo brake package, drilled/slotted rotors, upgrade sway bars, cold air intake, and all that stuff
hell the asian kid who drove the 8 out to me was kind wondering why I was switching, I just could not explain the fact that I was over the high horsepower get there as fast as you can kind of attitude.
anyway I really love this car even if it is not the torque'iest thing out there
I did ask the service guy about using a pre-mix in the fuel but he told me that it had come up in one of their service meetings and they said Not to use it since the newer RX8's should not have a problem with lubrication, OK fine with me
so anyway I am going to post some pics tomorow morning when I get up
have a good one all

Welcome! You should come out to one of our meets sometime. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday. Attendance is low right now (the 7s don't run ) but we're trying to fix that.

You did the exact same thing I did! (with the exception that I had a 6MT G35 Coupe and traded it in for a 6MT RX-8)
I had a Diamond Graphite 2005 G35 Coupe with the aero package (spoiler and underbody diffusers).
I traded it in for a 2006 RX-8!
Great minds thinks alike!
