sooo, just got the 8 and im looking for some enthusiasts around the jacksonville NC area... i know about the raleigh rotary drive, but thats a fairly long drive from New Bern. Just wondering if there was anything/anyone closer...

I'm in Jacksonville, Swansboro to be exact but I'm stationed at Camp Lejeune. There's several RX8 owners around here but I'm not sure if they're enthusiasts or not. I make it to New Bern about 1-2/month. Let me know if you wanna' meet up somewhere. It'd be cool to head up to Raleigh too, I guess those guys are fairly active.

 

yeah, im TAD to Lejune right now (from cherry pt). By the looks of things, im gonna be gone for a lil while... Leaveing sooner than expected. but i plan to stay current with the forums. ill be keeping in touch.

Heck, I don't know of anything but there's at least 6 RX-8 around here that I see on a daily basis. Wanna' organize a ride? If so I'd suggest that we plan one month ahead which would give enough time to contact these people. Then we could meet somewhere local (I suggest Hooters), go for a drive. Thoughts?

To heck with Raleighwood, lets drive to the beach one Sat night or Sunday and meet up with these guys somewhere Bobby! I'm sure we could get Nic and some others to meet us on the way there.

I just ran up on this thread at the rx7 forums. A group of east side 7 owners looking to get something going as well.

This weekend we will be tearing up a road cource (some local country roads... keeping the speed reasonable of cource) and then heading to the grill.
