Thumbs up New Brakes after 32k Miles

I just got new brakes in my car from Gunther Mazda. My breaks were squeking and ther is a new TSB that states that the oem brake pads material made them squeek so I got new brake pads with the new material for free. Get them before you reach 36k miles.

It's amazing how somebody can get 30K miles out of brake pads. I've gone thru a set in one weekend.

i'm getting my front pads replaced saturday at trussville mazda.......13,000 miles and the brakes are squealing worse than a two year old............is it true that the replacement pads don't coat your rims with all of that dust......i sure hope so.......

It's all true, there's little to no brake dust with the new pads. I've had mine on about a month now. There's quite a difference.

Is this valid on all RX-8's?

My pads have been squealing off and on for about 6K miles, and the dealer has never mentioned it. They tell me there is plenty of pad left, and not to be concerned.

yes, it is valid on all 8s......your dealer should replace the front pads free of charge.......just complain about the squealing noise.....they should do the rest
