Alright so I got my car back from the mechanic who told me he wouldn't touch it.. I drove the **** out of it for half an hour and pulled into my driveway and it died right there. How do I know if my wires are bad? I'll also be checking the fuel system tonight

Only way to tell is to test them. My bet is fuel issue.

Does anyone know of a reliable rotary mechanic in SWFL? Im in the Fort Myers area but willing to drive for a good mechanic. A family member is giving me their rx8 next week but I am driving it from California to Florida and I'm going to need an oil change when I get back. He currently takes it to a mechanic who specializes in building and racing rotary engines. Just looking to keep it as reliable as possible.
Thanks!

The CEL just came on and has gone off once and back on for the code p2070 and also the rear oxygen sensor one. I haven't experienced any power loss or anything so I'm going to try to take it to Rotarywerks later this week since no one seems to work on them in the Fort Myers/SWFL area.

Help

Does anyone know a mechanic in South Pennsylvania my Rx8 won't turn over. Possible chance I'm getting rid of it after it's fixed.
