How's that install going?

 

Done... I feel like hell. took 7 hours on Sunday...

 

Well what kinda issues did you run into with it? I'm going to try to do mine in the next couple of weeks hopefully

 

You'll have to grind down the bottom of the flange that bolts to the block. That was the only serious issue I ran into. The "humps" around the bolt holes are too thick. Probably took about 1/8" off each one.

 

What plans you got for that stock header?

 

Paperweight. It's kinda useless though. Like I said, the only fitment issue with the OBX was the bottom of the flange that bolts to the engine. Grind that down about 1/8 around the bolt holes and it should go on without a problem.

 

Anyone up for a meet soon? I have big news (concerning the terd, of course) lol. I've heard of a few car meets coming up soon in Nashville.....

Its on the 17th at 11, going to be pretty bad ***, ill be leaving clarksville around 6:30 or so...

 

I'll try and get some tuning done this weekend. We'll see where I'm at going into next week.

Stoopicold was awesome btw, very well put together show, awesome turn out! i got put in VIP as soon as i rolled through the gate, i was the only RX8 there, two FD's, one fully bult and the other for sale, but we were the only non-piston cars there, well worth the 3.5 hour trip there! until i hit an opossom otw home and took out a left front mud guard at $100 a pair haha

 

I had too much going on to make it. Oh well. We should all get together soon. Especially if this weather keeps holding up.

 

back to the real fun! As we all know, my slowmatic has officially quit. It seems as if I have spun a bearing and just about destroyed the e-shaft. OTHER THAN KEVIN LANDERS, anyone know someone who can fix this issue? I dont have the time or patience to f*ck with it anymore.
