Thats actually a guy from here that I know pretty good, he says he's still trying to get the car to rotate and has basically zero suspension travel in the rear. I'm not sure how he did Sunday since I left as he was finishing up, but in the rain on Saturday he was third in the group, and won his class. It was fun watching a sentra keep up with the red 350z and one of the Roar RX-8s in the wet.

I was in the RX-8 that he was racing against - he is a very good driver and I had a lot of fun racing against him. Even on Sunday in dry conditions I saw him in my rear view mirror plenty. I did notice he has tons of camber on the rear wheels - probably because of the body roll.

I had a good time despite the tornados and rain on Saturday. This was my second event driving in the rain. The first was at Rockingham with TA as my instructor. The instruction he gave me back then helped me get through Saturday at RA with some confidence.
I decided to run my street tires in the rain since they are pretty new and have excellent wet traction on the street. The new construction in turn 12 made for some interesting water hazards. It also took away some of the visual cues I had remembered from last time. Best lap in the wet-but-not-raining session was a 2:02+.
Sunday was much better. Things were dry enough to go full speed. I didn’t get many perfectly clean laps. The fist session on Sunday was a huge traffic jam. 2:07 was my best time in the first session. The last two sessions were much faster. Most of my laps in those sessions were in the 1:49+ – 1:50+ range. I did manage to do a 1:47+ on my last lap!

Looks like TA's track record in TTD is safe:

What lap timers do ya'll use?? I think I'm actually going to start TTs at Barbers this year, since I'm more comfortable there than anywhere, but I'd still like a decent lap timer for other groups I may run with.

OK. You took 3000 pictures ... and none of KurtBob? Maybe it was because the car was so dirty? or was I going too fast to capture on film? Yeah, that must have been it!

Mu ha ha.....
The Mazsport ignition makes a NA car come alive!
The MM tunning an AP gives it more boost.
Thes mods will make you have more fun!
Now, for lighter wheels......
