I know this is sacroreligious guys but I'm not to interested in 0-60 times with this car. Besides a lot of that is the driver and the all important "launch"! What I am more interested in is the 30-100-30 time!
From my ride in "The Boss" it will be very capable of a sub 5 time. Not only that i can see Charles breaking into the 12's in the 1/4 with just a little more help from something. I would love to see a can scan report on a NOS run. A little timing help and a mild 75 shot and he will be in the 12's(on stock tires). I believe with drag radials and skinny's up front, 90/10's shocks up front, relocate the battery and maybe replace it with a Braille and he may break into the 12's with a 55 shot.
But i think he is having a lot of fun track driving now!

Well, after pressing the parts department to look further into the details they discovered...

Parts dude: "Oh! Yea, I see why you were concerned now! The transmitter is separate and cost $165. Then you got the cost of the key and programming."

So, sorry guys. What I thought was a good deal was nothing after all. I had talked to the parts department 3 times before I dragged this out of them.

O.D., those couple of passes were not at 100%. I discovered some issues, as you may have read, and since I got back home I put another 5-6 runs on the system and the tank is empty. That means the nitrous was probably at 40%, at best, but I messed up a few things as I said previously. I would just say that with the multitude of problems I had you might as well say that the run(s) we all did were without the nitrous. If I am able, I will make a tape and send it to Don so he can update the performance impressions. I assure all of you that if you thought the car pulled hard before, you better wear Depends next time. That's why I seemed less than thrilled, myself. I wasn't sure at the time but I have it all figured out now. If those 555's are worth anything more than the stock tires we'll be seeing some 13.0's fersure. Sorry to burst some bubbles around here but the truth is what it is. Those passes sucked and so did my car that weekend. I fooled around with too many things at the same time.

nabil, Charles : you're both up early for a Saturday. What is this, the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

The speed channel had Fifth Gear on this morning at 7:30. It's starting out to be a great morning.

I usually get up around 6:30 to get my kids off to school and I don't sleep in on weekends. Besides, I have some work to do on my car so I can race tonight. Next Friday is a bracket race at Milan Dragway and a bunch of Mustang drivers from my work and I may go and see what we really run in the 1/4 mile. I'd like to be running tip-top for that, too.

Guys, just updated my gas milage in the computer.

Day 1 : 11.348
Day 2 : 9.409

The Panoz School was 7.200 mpg so though this was much more fun, it was also more efficient. So I could even say that they saved my more money than Panoz.

Just thought I'd share. Anyone else have this info? My average since Feb 2004 ( I started alittle after getting the car) is 19.092 mpg.

Lego, what are you keeping your mpg in. I use my palm pilot. If I want to chart mine I guess I could put it in Excel. Are you using an application just for the gas?

My average is 16.80
My first two tanks were in the 19's
Spirited driving is high 13's - 14's
Granny driving 19's

Man, even with my "truck" tires I was getting 20-21 mpg. I wonder what I'll be getting with the new tires, which are much better BTW.

I just use Excel. Got a little memo book I write the info in and then transfer it every once in a while.

Well, it's kind of skewed since I drove back home with some of that tank of gas too. With that track day and highway driving on the way home, I had 21.136 mpg, which is pretty damn good. I guess I was driving like my grand mother that day.

The second time in December, I used a whole tank that day.

Day 1 @ Road Atlanta was around 14 mpg, and day 2 was ~ 16 mpg. Got the actual figures at home, as I am traveling w/o the car this week.

My average mpg is 20.86

I mentioned this when we were all together.

Hymee will be at my place in Guntersville AL on Sunday May 1st, and y'all are welcome to come over & meet him.

Be thinking about it -- just a couple of weeks away.

If all goes well next Wednesday, as it should under the law, I will be looking to plan a Detroit/Atlanta get together June 11-12 at Beaverun(PA). I think that is roughly equidistant between the two cities(?). Anybody interested?

I think the September trip to Savannah would be a great trip for all of us to pack up and go on for that NASA track event. I think that one is a little closer to you and Lego.
