I know this is some advanced notice, but seeing the Georgia Gang talk about their track days has gotten me wanting to do another, and as much as I would love to do Road Atlanta... not going to happen anytime soon
.
Hopefully the Georgia Gang (GG8s) will take a trip down south and convince the locals to get their 8's to where they belong, the track! :D
...and even if the GG8s don't make it, the locals better

WOOHOO!! I'd love too........out of town the week before so it may be tough. NASA is lining up more and more events in the SE as times goes. Hopefully if we can't all get together for this event or any at Road Atlanta, maybe somewhere in between. It'd be a hoot I'm sure.
Those of you on the fence.....go for it. There is nothing better than instructed track time in your car to really learn what a great ride you have. You'll be surprised what you and this car can do.

Daymmmmnnn! I just looked at the course map and it looks as if you guys have some lonngg straights! What kind of speeds would yall get up too?
Looks good and I'm glad to see the interest grow. Believe me you haven't driven your 8 til you have put it on a road course.

you guys do know that I have done quite a few track events right
...
HMS is four dragstrips connected by a few corners. Speeds in the 8 are around 120. Lots of really fast turns though. It's one of my favorite tracks (probably cause of how many times I've driven it). Also, it's not too bad on brakes.
If Jay is in the mood to instruct, you can get instruction from an 8 owner.

ok, so I started a new job and hardly have enough time to pee... It's been a few days since I've checked the forums and I was half expecting to hear people wanting to go to this NASA event.
Come on guys... I'm looking at the May 1st date myself, it would be nice to see the guys who came out with me last time come out again, and it would be GREAT to see some of the Georgia Gang come hand with us "flat trackers"

um, :o
I wouldn't know... No one was going so I passed on it.
I might be doing a PCA event, they're cheaper ($200). I know several PCA guys, so they don't care if I'm not a member.
