More clarification. ST RX8's (championship winning) with big rads and MS front ends maintain 210 deg. Stock will work just fine. Keep your body cool. See y'all soon.

LOL!!! Love it!
Good info Chas---and they are geared lower and have a higher red line
If Silver or I see any potential problems we will quickly pass it on--may be a good time to practice "save the car" lap, short shifting etc.
Now wouldnt you know that the brake rotor scews heads stripped!
Damn. I also learned that you dont have to use them anymore!!

Well I can hardly stand the wait. I'm ready to go now! I don't know why I'm bothering to "work" a half day tomorrow.

Car is ready and on the trailer. Gonna change the tires when I get there.

You like the sunroof? I thought it was appropriate.

I can't wait! I'm so excited. My track list is made, I'm checking it twice. I'm not going to sleep at all this evening. I'm going to try to get there around 3pm tomorrow.

Haha, I like sun roof, nice touch!

OnRails, I think the TracMount rev3 will be ready for you to use. I'll use the old trailer hitch version. I know one thing, I'll never make my money back on this puppy as it is a bear to bend consistently.

Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow.

So now you just need to invent a machine that does all the bending work for you. Thanks for the loaner. I'll put it to good use.

Lego - The car looks great. I'll bet its exciting to get out there with it after all of the work you've put into it. LMAO at the sunroof.

w00t - can't sleep

L8, OnRails - I was at GTE today and the other guy in the waiting room was a shaggy, blond dude named Matt who drives a blue WRX. He was at CMP in DE2 and remembers you guys playing lead-follow.
I went out to watch you guys that session, and met some WRX guys that were timing him.
Small world, he said you guys were really fun to watch. Twin cars chasing each other.

I do remember him, but he was a quiet one, never said much of anything. I did chat with some of his friends on the NASA forum, but have not talked to him. He was fast, and that AWD little car was awesome to watch, he would start to get loose in turn 14, then just floor it, and it would straighten out and just leave us. Good times. I had fun chasing OnRails, and look forward to Roebling, and doing that again with my fellow 8 trackers.

I didn't sleep much last night. Kept waking up with and smiling about my upcoming day. It rained last night so the car is "washed" and the dust is off of it. I just have to load the boxes up and hit the road in a little bit.

See you guys soon! I'll have my laptop with me and if there is internet access at the hotel, I'll have routine updates nightly (well, at least Friday/Sat night).

Everyone have a safe drive to the track. See you all there.

Since our session is the !ST ONE IN THE MORNING__HOT DAMN!!!--i will change tires this evening/tonight. Where are we going to set up? In that hot *** section reserved for the hpde guys? I thing we better bring something cool to park on or our tires will be overheated before we even start.

Whooohooo! It's T-Time!

Worked my *** off yesterday so I didn't have time to get too excited. 9:30 last night we were still working on the mount and I was exhausted. No time to do some of my last min. things for track prep so after tech this evening and shooting the bull for a while, I will need to head home to get my crap together and tires mounted. Yeeehaaaa! I'ts party time my friends!

I'm PUMPED!

The Chiskeeters* were viewed from the channel 5 helicopter earlier today in the lower back section of the Road Atlanta property around the lake. "It is believed they are building in masses for a frontal assault on unexpected campers in the early hours of the evening." Judging by the attendance of the crowd, I suspect it will probably be a rear assault so if I were you guys, I'd watch my backside, specially if you are close to the ground. Flatfooted is one thing but these suckers have long feet so when they stand tiptoe, you better freaking watch out!

*Notice I used "Blood Red" for the font color!

I feel your pain. Was walking out the door and made the mistake of answering the phone. Dumb *** work questions.

Resolved. Phone now being ignored. Leaving. Finally.

OMS - that is just mean!
