We're thinking about having a cook out on Saturday at our house (Smyrna, TN), so I'm checking to see who would be interested. BYOB, maybe around 6:30. We just need to have a pretty close to accurate count so we can prepare enough food. We'll make a finial decision by Thursday depending on how many are interested.

I'm sure we'll be in the garage depending on the weather, but be aware that we have cats if you're allergic.

Hello everyone! Nice to see some 8 owners fairly close! We just bought a Red 04 RX8 GT 6sp manual, technically it's mine (named her Mayhem) but I guess that's only if I keep it away from my husband long enough and resort to evil tactics if need be including pink stickers and peeing on the tires. We live in East TN, fairly close to the Dragon! We'd love to know if there are others nearby...

Oh speaking of some nearby, To the chick/dude in Morristown that bought the silver one I wanted just as we were pulling up to testdrive it...congrats! I hope she treats you well and maybe we'll meet eachother! I'm in a red one, with Mayhem across the back glass . Awesome ride btw! She's pretty!

Nope, car seats fit quite nicely... it's the booster seats that don't play well with the bucket seats. They work, but it's tricky.

ok people. i'm trading the 8 next week. no point in leaving the good stuff on as i wont get jack for it. all aftermarket parts are up for sale/trade for stock, open to all offers, having some friends out to the new house on the east side this weekend (may 13-15) and we will be taking it apart.... Will, i know you want the sways and links, the sparco seats and harnesses are out of the car, and i believe i will have the whole cage out too..... come help turn a wrench and drink a beer, 2100 sq ft garage. pm me for phone # or address....

Well dang haha, rich people live out there ) You guys do mazda meets or just rotary? I have a friend who drives a miata is why i ask

 

all mazdas are welcomed to our meets. its mainly rotaries but all mazdas are welcomed

 

@ 05shinka yeah, i work at a mazda dealer and they're aren't too many that come in i don't know why

What's up everyone, moved up here to TN last year, and just bought my first 8 a few days ago. I'm in the Brentwood area and work in Franklin if anyone ever wants to meet up!

Also, anyone have any experience with hail damage? I bought my 8 on Monday, and got hammered by the hail on Wednesday. Most people may not notice it, but those dents make me sick to my stomach.
